Fourth period was Gym, a class he surely knew, Coach Peil was his teacher there.  He was making the guys in the class climb a rope up to the top of the ceiling.
"This is easy." Jerry boasted and bowed to the ladies in the class then began to try to climb the rope.  He could make it past where he had started, then began to complain about how no one could do this it was physically impossible.
Coach Peil ordered him off the rope then climbed it with little problem, at the top he hit the ceiling then came down.
At lunch Jerry stood by the football team and boasted about how he could play better than anyone out there.  Gary the football quarterback decided to take him up on the offer.
They sided up and began to play, Gary played circles around Jerry, afterward Jerry just remarked about how it was an off day for him and he was new that was all.  He was out of practice a little but on a good day he could beat him, and the whole team with one arm tied behind his back.
Fifth period was Spanish, Mr. Way was teaching them how to say, "Hello, how are you?"
Jerry blurted it out after he had finished the last of the slow pronunciations, he had said it wrong but it meant nothing.
Mr. Way then said it quickly to the other students so they could tell the difference, but Jerry just remarked how Mr. Way wasn't even Spanish so how did he know.
Sixth period, biology, Mr. Lyle, there was a paper he handed out to be filled out, Jerry rushed through it not reading and handed it back in.  Mr. Lyle looked at him, "What did you think this was?"
"A test", Jerry blurted out, "And I don't think it's very fair for you to give us a test on the first day."
"This is a permission slip." Mr. Lyle pointed out then sent him back to his seat.
After his last class he walked over to the busses, he got on the first one knowing it was his bus, and ended way across town.  By the time he got home it was too late to play with the neighborhood kids and he went to go to sleep.  The next morning when he arrived at school there were two girls standing in the front.  One of them he thought was cute her name was Sandy, he knew her from the English class he was in.
"You wanna come watch me work out in the gym?" he stood in front of her, knowing he was going to show off with the equipment.
"Sure!" Sandy already knew about the equipment in the gym, it was hard to get around if you didn't know it and she was on the track team.
