20 The poor is hated even of his own neighbour: but the rich hath many friends.

Deadra went to the same school as Felica in the middle class suburbs.  Deadra being poor, didn't have nice clothes to wear to school, but instead hand me downs and clothes given to her from family members that were a little better off  than she was. Felica's parents were well off, she always had the hottest clothes, the perfect hair, and the best cars always dropped her off school.
On Deadra's birthday she held a party and handed out invitations to the kids in her 1st period class, but none came, even her neighbors who had been invited didn't come.  She was used to this because her neighbors always said mean things about her clothes and stuff when she walked home from the bus stop after school.
On Felica's birthday she held a party and everyone came, even people she didn't invite showed up.  They ate all her food, drank what she had to drink and then left.  However her presents numbered few, out of the hundred people that showed up she got three presents, and one was from her parents.

21 He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.

Jack was a disabled vet from the war, day after day he would stand outside in the streets and beg for money, it was all he could do.  And even on some days it was not enough for him to get by on, he would drag his weary bones out to the side of the street, his wounds still aching from the war, though it had been years and years before.
Will always walked past him on his way into the building at work, he shunned Jack for being lazy and never gave him a dime.  "Those who will not work will not eat." he used to mock him as he walked past everyday.
Jane walked past him everyday on the way to work, she would always stop even if she had to money to help him with.  She would talk with him about the world affairs and the war, she knew him well and they were friends.  And in her heart the world was a better place because of him, and she loved him dearly.  He would always offer her kinds words of encouragement, and make her smile when she was down.

22 Do they not err that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.

There were two men running for office, one wanted to be the mayor so bad that he would slander and lie against his opponent.  He made up stories of him stealing money and cheating on his wife to gain votes.  The other man did nothing to him in return but instead focused on the issues and what he would really do if he was put into office.
For months and months the campaign ads ran, till one day a man for neither side decided to run a check on both candidates.  While doing his research he found out that the man that had lied cheated on tax returns, and sued several people for malpractice when he was done no harm.  Also he had found nothing on the man who stuck to the issues.  He then took out an ad on his own exposing the lair as a fraud and aired all his dirty laundry on air, while praising the honest man.
When the votes were counted the honest man won, and kept his promises once in office.
