12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Tarot cards, horoscopes, palmists, Ouija boards, sex before marriage, fortune tellers, drugs, drunkenness, drugs all seem right at the time.  They seem harmless, they seem like nothing at all when you are doing them, but they end in death of the soul.  You don't get to go to heaven, but instead perish in the eternal flames of hell.

13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness.

Silvia and her boyfriend broke up, her friends took her out to a comedy club to make her feel better.  The comedian was funny, and she laughed and all had a good time.  But when she got home and closed the door of her apartment she was sad again.

14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself.

Kate and Kathy were born again at the same time, they even worked at the same place.  Kathy began to backslide and fell back into her old ways, her work never improved, her thoughts never changed.  Day after day she would do the same thing and would be tired at the end of the day when she got home to her apartment.  She never felt happy and was disgusted with her life.

  Kate continued in God's way, her work became easier for her to do, she completed her tasks with little effort.  At the end of the day she was no longer tired from a days work, and was satisfied with what she had done.  She always felt happy and was finally happy with her life.
