1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Jenny had a problem with her boyfriend at school, he had been seen holding hands with another girl in school.  She walked up to her two friends who were talking beside her locker in the morning before school.  She told them what he had been doing, Grace turned to her and said, "Don't worry about it, if he loves you he will come back to you."

Randi said, "If I was you I would go tell him off, and then tell her off  too."

2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness

People that are smart make learning fun, but people who don't know what they are talking about tell lies.

3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

God is always watching you, weither you do good or bad, he always sees you.

4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therin is a breech of spirit.

There were two mothers, they both had the same problem their children made F's in school.
The first mother encouraged her kid to do better, "It's ok you'll do better next time, study harder."  And the next grading period she was right he got a D.
The second mother turned to her kid and griped at him, "You'll never amount to anything, you're stupid!"  And the next grading period he made another F.
